NASIRIYAH, Iraq A riot outside Baghdad has left two dead and dozens injured.
Hundreds of Iraqis took to the streets of Nasiriyah (nah-sih-REE'-uh) yesterday to protest the state of unemployment in Iraq. At least one man complained that Iraqis have to pay six- or seven-hundred dollars to a potential employer in order to work.The demonstration turned violent as protesters armed with sticks, stones and guns were confronted by police.
